Her love for theatre came through acting: From 2011 onwards, Anna performed in various groups of Berlin’s independent scene (Intergogue, Café Tambour, JTW Spandau) and trained in techniques such as LABAN, Meisner and stage combat. She lived in London and Cambridge for her graduate studies in politics and philosophy (MA and MPhil), then returned to the UK more long-term in 2018 to pursue an MA Directing at LAMDA. After graduating with distinction, she was long-listed for the Young Vic's Genesis Award and the JMK Award 2020.

She has been involved in theatre and creative writing since her primary school days and has been an ensemble member of the independent-scene group Intergogue from 2012 to 2017 where she was involved in acting, directing, costume design and make-up.
